Part-Time Delivery Driver – Specimen Deliveries

We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team for specimen deliveries. This role is ideal for an independent contract courier who understands that professionalism and accuracy are essential.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Delivery Type: STAT deliveries (urgent pickups and drop-offs of specimens and pharmaceuticals)
• Location: Virginia Beach, VA
• Vehicle Requirement: Must have a reliable vehicle (2015 or newer)
• Employment Type: Part-time, 1099 contractor position
• Pay: Bi-weekly

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver medical specimens safely and on time
• Follow proper handling procedures to maintain specimen integrity
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older with a clean driving history
• Proof of insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000/$300,000
• No DUIs within the past 7 years
• Fewer than two moving violations
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Punctual and dependable
• Willingness to undergo and pass a background check and drug screening
